Beautiful Chaoyang, Shared Future in Harmony” Photography Exhibition Opens in Melbourne Telling Chaoyang’s Story through Light and Shadow
On 23 November 2025 (local time), the themed photography exhibition “Beautiful Chaoyang, Shared Future in Harmony” opened at the Museum of Chinese Australian History in Melbourne. Guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Chaoyang District Committee of Beijing, planned by the Chaoyang District Publicity and Culture Centre and hosted by the Chaoyang District Association for International Cultural Exchange, the exhibition has also received strong support from the Australia - China Friendship Society. Through a carefully curated collection of photographs, it offers Australian audiences a multifaceted view of the cityscape, cultural spirit and development vitality of Beijing’s Chaoyang District, building a new bridge for cultural exchange between China and Australia.
All exhibited works were selected from the submissions of photography enthusiasts from across Chaoyang District. These works, rich in subject matter and diverse in perspective, cover Chaoyang’s signature landmarks, urban cultural services and ecological advancements. Each frame serves as a vivid footnote to Chaoyang’s role as Beijing’s key gateway for international engagement and as a thriving modern district.
More than a showcase of photographic art, the “Beautiful Chaoyang, Shared Future in Harmony” exhibition is a vivid practice of cultural storytelling.
