Top U.S Destinations in the Spring

  • Written by News Feature Team

Spring is, undoubtedly, one of my favorite seasons. The air is fresh, the flowers are blooming, and nature is spectacular. The way that I like to take advantage of this excellent time of the year is by road-tripping. With so many places to visit in the U.S, where would I go in a
motorhome rental to take advantage of the fabulous spring weather?

While the U.S is full of destinations that are beautiful any time of the year, there is just something about traveling during spring. Following are my favorite U.S destinations for spring time road trips:

Charleston, South Carolina: Charleston is a charming city to visit throughout all of the seasons, but there is something special about being there in spring. This waterfront colonial style town is full of history which makes you feel like you have gone back in history. From its amazing golf courses with spectacular views to the historic architecture and of course the gorgeous seawall known as The Battery. Park your R.V and get to know just how beautiful Charleston is, especially in spring time. It also has received the title of America’s most friendly city, which makes it an even more inviting destination for you to visit while on your road trip.

New Orleans, Louisiana: New Orleans should be visited at least once in your lifetime, if not on a regular basis. It is a city full of history, amazing culture, fun festivals, and friendly people. To make the most of one’s time and truly enjoy the city in its finest glory, it is highly suggested that you visit in spring. Summer in New Orleans can get pretty hot, so spring is when you can not only enjoy the outdoors and visit the many sites, but you can also have a fresh and fun time at one of the spring festivals the city is known for. From the French Quarter to visiting plantations, New Orleans promises to be a fabulous destination for your springtime road trip.

Austin, Texas: Austin is home to many musicians, fantastic restaurants, beautiful outdoor locations, and fun activities to do. It’s full of lively and likeable people and there is always something to be done. It’s the kind of city that always has something going on outdoors, which means that visiting during spring time is a great idea.

Happy people, beautiful weather, and fabulous music are some reasons why I think Austin, Texas is worth stopping by during your spring road trip. Before you go, remember this tip: visit as many food trucks as you can and don’t forget to try Salt Lick barbeque, right outside of Austin before you leave.

In Conclusion

The great thing about traveling in your own vehicle is being able to park it and call that place home for as long as you want and then be able to get up and go whenever you want. Taking a road trip during the spring to various destinations in the U.S is so much easier with a motor home. You can ride comfortably, know where you will sleep every night, and visit as many places as you want.
