  • Written by Caroline Drahan-Pietrzak

Melbourne, Australia - 4 March, 2016 – Retreat to The Westin Melbourne over the Easter long weekend where luxurious accommodation, chocolate martinis, gourmet breakfast and a leisurely late checkout combine to create a memorable Melbourne escape.

Upon arrival, two chocolate martinis served in the Lobby Lounge set the tone for an indulgent getaway. A luxuriously appointed room with the signature Heavenly® Bed as the centerpiece offers a haven to relax and restore the body. Unlimited access to the hotel's Wellness Centre featuring a sauna, steam room and pool and the 24-hour WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio will leave you feeling better than when you arrived.

The morning serves up a gourmet SuperFoodsRx™ buffet breakfast in Allegro Restaurant, where the best seat in the house can be found on the terrace balcony amongst the treetops on Collins Street.

A leisurely late 12pm check-out leaves more time to explore, with the city's finest shopping and attractions on the hotel's doorstep.

The indulgent Easter Escape Package is available from $295 per room, per night from Sunday 20th March until Saturday 30th April, 2016.

The Westin's Lobby Lounge will also play host to a special Easter themed high tea over the long weekend. Enjoy three tiers of decadent, handcrafted, sweet and savoury delights, served alongside the finest tea and coffee blends.

Easter High Tea will be available from 11am on Friday 25 March to Monday 28 March and is $49 per person, $59 including a glass of sparkling wine or $74 with a glass of Moet & Chandon champagne.
