  • Written by Jessica Fornito

The traditional gives way to the quirky as designer hotel group QT Hotel & Resorts prepares to treat incurable romantics seeking sweet treats for significant others.

From the spa-addict to the discerning bookworm, getaway artists to 'instapic' whizz-kids, here are QPid's picks for lovers of the unique, the memorable, the quirky & the fun.

SWEET TREATS FROM QTIQUE:

QT Hotels & Resorts quirky boutique (QTique) features an eclectic mix of eccentricities, luxuries and necessities with contemporary Australian designers sharing space with old fashioned favourites.   An exhibition-styled showcase of hand-sourced delights, QTique serves up a stunning range of goods curated by Melbourne-based stylist Anna Roberts.

Product ranges vary between QT locations and are available to peruse and purchase in the lobby of each property.  The QTique 2016 Valentine's Day Gift Guide presents a sweet selection sweet treats including colourful, comfy 'Happy Pants', hand-crafted earrings, relaxation-inducing colouring books and peppery all-natural massage oil.  Those unable to visit before cupid comes a calling are invited to order items from our gift guide by emailing qtique@qthotels.com.au.

spaQ FOR LOVERS:

Contemporary, designer day spa 'spaQ' by QT Hotels and Resorts is offering a little free love for those planning to treat loved ones to a spa-escape.  With spaQ gift vouchers being one of the hot ticket items during the season of romance, spa lovers will have $50 deducted from gift voucher purchases over $300 by using the promotion code 'CALLMEQPID'.

With spaQ's philosophy firmly centred on providing bespoke, spa journeys curated individually for each guest with their 'Freshly Picked' concept, the gift of spaQ means there's no tough call on what to choose for the recipient.

At all four locations spaQ offers a full range of beauty therapies that pack serious therapeutic punch including body wraps, exfoliations, facials and massage.  To purchase a gift voucher visit spa-q.com.au.
